Raiho is a rather brash and boisterous person. As a madia executive, he is cold blooded and calculated, and can always be found with a sharp grin on his face. He doesn't listen to the rules often, rather acting by his own rules.When Raiho isn't working or on a mission, he can most of the time be found in a bar, flirting with someone or drinking his worries away. More often than not, his flirting ends up with him at someone else's place, tangled up in yet anotehr one-night stand. Raiho is well known for his frequent hook-ups.

Despite his frequent hook-ups, Raiho will never be found in a serious romantic relationship. While growing up, his views on love changed drasticially, forming his belief that he's an unlovable person, undeserving of a loved one. Yet, he still secretly wishes to one day find someone to spend the rest of his life with.Aside from his personality at work and his outing tendencies, when seriously getting to know him, Raiho tones down his boisterous personality a lot. He teases his friends a lot and jokes around with them as well, but he is way less flirty.Raiho only considers one person to be his bestest friend. With her, he becomes almost domestic and more physically affectionate, almost making them look like a couple (which he always laughs at and denies whenever someone brings it up).Regardless, Raiho is very protective of his loved ones. He would do anything to protect them and guarantee their safety.

Raiho was born into a normal family in the village of Takayama, Japan. He had parents who loved him and taught him everything he needed to know to grow up. He grew up in a small town with just them. In reality however, his parents fought a lot. They only pretended to get along in front of Raiho, for his sake. They fell out of love long ago, but only stayed together for Raiho. But that charade didn't last forever.Once Raiho was in his 3rd year of highschool (17 y/o), and came home early, he found his parents arguing like they usually do behind closed doors. It destroyed his whole worldview of the happy and loving family they were. He had always used his family as an example of what he wanted to have in the future, but was distraught after finding out the truth.

After painstakingly finishing highschool, Raiho ran away from home (18/19 y/o). Using his spare money he saved up, he bought a train ticket to Tokyo to start a new life. For a while, everything seemed to go well. He had a small apartment, managed to find a job with a stable income, and even managed to make a few friends. He even managed to get a girlfriend.(20 y/o) All seemed well, until he found out his girlfriend cheated on him. Making matters worse, the guy she was with now, was a part of the local mafia. Raiho didn't plan to confront the guy at first, knowing it was too risky. But after he returned home and found his apartment completely ransacked, he didn't have any other choice. (Mafia guy broke into Raihos apartment to retrieve the GF's belongings and destroyed the place cause he was bored.)After finding and confronting the guy, Raiho quickly realized this was the worst decision of his life. After just a few words, he found himself surrounded by other members of the mafia this guy belonged to. Raiho couldn't even react in time before they jumped him. Despite his dragon nature, he could barely do anything to fight back, with at least seven people surrounding him.Before the beat up could get any worse, those guys got chased away, by only one person. The man who saved Raiho, already looked like mafia as well, but he was much more friendly, and helped treat Raihos wounds. After a long talk of explaining everything to the man, starting from where he was from to the present, the man made Raiho the offer to join his organization, "The White Lotus". ("The White Lotus" is a rival mafia to the one the cheater guy works for.)After much needed contemplation and thinking, Raiho reluctantly agreed. He went to Yokohama with the man, and soon started to work as a subordinate for The White Lotus.Now, in the present (26 y/o), Raiho is an executive for The White Lotus, commanding his own subordinates around. Despite the gruelling work sometimes, he wouldn't change it for anything in the world.(i wrote this while lowkey sleep deprived so it may be ass)

Mako has a rather loud personality. His voice has a rough sound to it.When first meeting him, Mako is more intimidating and rude. After warming up to others, his loud and teasing self comes to the front.He can act a bit pathetic sometimes due to his clueless and "stupid" behavior. While he isn't textbook smart, he possesses an avid amount of street smarts and a lot of emotional intelligence. No matter what though, he will always be a stubborn individual.

Mako is great at picking up on other peoples emotions and encourages them to express themselves in their own way. However, Mako himself has trouble expressing his own emotions through words. Whenever he tries, he stumbles over his words, reprimanding himself and calling himself an idiot in an annoyed and almost angry tone. So instead of talking, he opts to either show them with over the top gestures (big bear hugs, cuddling, etc.), or he hides them behind snarky remarks.Mako is very stubborn. He curses a lot and likes to throw random curse words into his casual speech.
Mako is very protective over the person he falls in love with, bordering on possessive. He will always do his best to protect his significant other from others, especially from other shark demihuman. In contrast, Mako is not flirtatious or subtle whatsoever. He is very straightforward in his actions due to his boisterous personality. In the case of someone flirting with him, he will get incredibly flustered.

As a child, Mako had a tendency to walk onto random beaches, oftentimes scaring innocent vacation goers away when they realized he's a shark demi-human.One day, when he walked on land, Mako stumbled upon a young girl. She wasn't scared of him whatsoever and ended up playing with him on the beach all day. When the time came for the girl to leave, the two of them made a pinky promise. "When we grow up, let's find each other again and get married.", she said to him in an innocent tone, not truly meaning anything by it. Mako, however, took this promise to heart, making it his life long mission to find her again after growing up.Aside from the pinky promise, Mako was always the more rowdy kid in his family, often getting into fights with his siblings. Once he was old enough, he distanced himself from his family, before eventually going on his own way.He eventually found a small island off the coast of Shikoku, Japan, with a lighthouse on it*. He settled down in a cave near the island, until he stumbled upon the lighthosue caretaker. To his surprise, the lighthouse caretaker turned out to be the girl he made that pinky promise with as a child, simply grown up now.Following that "groundbreaking discovery" as he calls it, Mako started to live with her, never seizing in his pursuit to marry her.

*The lighthosue I am referencing is located in Matsuyama in real life, a city on the island Shikoku in Japan.

To anyone else, Mari is a sweet yet mischivious person. She can't help but tease her "clients" whenever she's doing her succubus work.To anyone who knows her personally, Mari is clingy and almost a bit needy. At times, she can be a bit lazy, especially when it comes to cleaning her room or doing other chores.

She spends most of her time at home, where she lives with her older sister Setsuna. She plays a lot of video games, ranging from FPS games to simple farming games to RPG's. In "regular Mari fashion", her PC set-up is pink.Mari takes pride in her gaming and seduction skills, but one thing she's terrible at is cooking. She is not allowed in the kitchen anymore after almost blowing it up while trying to make scrambled eggs.When it comes to love, Mari is either a hopeless romantic, or completely repulsed by the mere thought of it. Due to playing a lot of visual novels/otome games, she'll squeal and roll around on her bed at those typical tropes. When it comes sto real life however, she won't be found in any romantic situations in a million years.

When her sister ultimately left and settled down on earth, Mari continued her work like usual, pretending she didn't care about her sister leaving.Her longing for her sister quickly caught up with her however, and she made it her mission to find her on earth.On her search, Mari stumbleed upon various things she'd never seen in hell. They may have been similar, but to her, they were vastly different. And intrigued her even more.After just a few days of searching, Mari accidentally stumbled upon her sister working at a cafe she was visiting. She almost tackled Setsuna in a hug, followed by impatiently waiting for her shift to be over to finally talk with her again.On their way home, Mari talked more about the things she's found here on earth, than her actual reason for being there. Not fazed by this whatsoever, Setsuna simply told her to stay, amused as Maris face lit up like a christmas tree.Now, Mari continues diligently with her work as a succubus, all while indulging in her new hobbies and simply being happy on earth with her sister.

As a demon warrior, Kagami is a fierce individual. She's known for ehr strong will and strong body, able to rip her enemies to shreds with ease. She was always looking for her next fight.She loved fighting more than anything, but was forced to retire after breaking her left leg one too many times. She still suffers from the repercussions, having to use a cane to walk at times.When she retired, Kagami decided to come down to Earth to live a peaceful life.By pure coincidence, she stumbled upon a small rundown shop. she could barely react before she got ushered into the shop by the old lady who owns the place. she old shop turned out to be an alchemy shop, wich the old lady wasn't able to keep up anymore. She wanted Kagami to be her successor, despite only just meeting her.Kagami didn't have it in her to refuse the old lady's request and agreed to take over this shop. The old lady was overjoyed and immediately began to teach Kagami about the world of alchemy.Over the years, Kagami mastered her craft and rebuild the shop from the ground up. She even managed to take some students under her wings (mostly because they found her attractive, but stayed to learn alchemy).Kagami definitely doesn't regret any of her decisions, living the life now that she was meant for.

Kenji is a mystery to anyone around him. He is often called a weirdo or freak by his classmates, even though they barely know anything about him.From the outside, Kenji just looks like a quiet and reserved young man, not putting his nose into other people's business and always minding his own business.

If you were to really get close to him, you would immediately regret your decisions. In reality, Kenji is a mentally unstable person, stemming from years of abuse by his own father. He has a twisted view on love, falling too quickly in love and ending up becoming more than possessive and obssesive about the subject of his love.He won't let anyone get close to his crush, "taking out" anyone who dares to get too close to them. More often than not, after finally getting close to his crush, he ends up murdering them as well, too scared of losing them one day ("if I can't have you, no one can" type shit).He's never been caught, since he never becomes a suspect. He always keeps his distance from his victims, so that he doesn't get caught in any kind of crossfire that may occur.

in chinese mythology, it is said that pine trees are able to turn into cranes, as both of them have a long life span. jingyi is one of those cases. he turned from a beautiful pine tree into an even more beautiful crane. he is even able to take on a humanoid form.the first few centuries of his life as a crane were nothing special, surpisingly enough. until one day, he stumbled upon who he would later call the love of his life.

after getting injured in his crane form, a kind woman took care of him until he was back to full health. as a token of his gratitude, jingyi swore to rush to her aid, if she ever needed his help.throughout those years, the two of them only became closer and closer, eventually tying the knot to spend their life together.life, however, had different plans. jingyi's wife became sick, passing away due to complications. there wasn't a single day were he didn't miss her after he buried her, their memories together a precious treasure to him.one day, jingyi stumbled upon an injured dragon in the woods. even though it seemed wary of him at first, the dragon reluctantly let jingyi closer. he patched up the dragons wounds and took care of it, much like his wife did for him all those years ago.after just a few days passed by, jingyi was pleasently surprised to find the dragon in her humanoid form. he was even more surprised to see the dragon looking weirdly similiar to his deceased wife. but it didn't let him deter him.it took just a bit longer for jingyi to gain the dragons trust more and more. he learned her name, hua, her backstory, and why she was injured in the first place.feeling pity for her, and a weird sense of parental responsibility, jingyi made hua the offer of becoming her mentor, even training her to learn how to fight. hua agreed pretty fast, almost catching jingyi off-guard.since that day, jingyi has been treating hua not only like his disciple, but also like she were his own daughter. the two were basicially inseparable at this point.

ㅤdemi-humansㅤ . demi-humans co-exist with humans in the real world. they can be found working normal jobs just like every other person. humans and demi-humans age the same. despite being so alike, some humans will unfortunately always look down on demi-humans, and vice versa.

ㅤdemonsㅤ . demons are all born in hell. some of them choose to live on earth for any reason at all. they live and co-exist alongside humans and demi-humans on earth, despite still being feared in some places by some people. demons age differently from humans and demi-humans.

ㅤhellㅤ . the hell here is essensially a copy of earth. all the countries, including cultures and language, exist in hell as well. the only difference between earth and hell are the cities, states, economy, etc.

ㅤdragonsㅤ . dragons are different from dragon demi-humans. dragons have the ability to transform into their ferocious beast-like form and can live for centuries. dragon demi-humans only have the fitting traits to call them a dragon (horns, tail, wings), can oftentimes breath fire, and don't live for centuries. they age like normal humans.

ㅤmythological beingsㅤ . mythological beings are the same as in real life mythology. nothing much will be changed about them. most of the time, those beings will be immortal/thousands of years old. (i am always willing to learn and improve if i mess up anything about the story of those beings)
